Service Description

Doodle Art Therapy Kids Workshop 10am-12pm Doodling involves drawing in a spontaneous and unstructured manner. It is characterized by simple, repetitive patterns and abstract designs. Sometimes it can incorporate recognizable characters or objects. While doodling can be a casual activity it becomes therapeutic when someone's mind becomes occupied and focussed on the task of doodling, escaping from the stresses and strains of everyday life. It can also be a way for individuals to communicate and express themselves when verbal expression is difficult. This Kids Art Workshop is at an introductory level. No previous experience needed. Artist age 5-15 Drop off and pick up. No need for parents/carers to stay unless they want to. Workshop takes place at Catz Cabin 25 Mere Lane, Sandiway, Northwich, Cheshire Please send your child with a water bottle and a snack. If you would like them to attend the second session of the day as well, please also send them with a packed lunch. Lunch will be from 12-12.30pm No need for you to pick them up in-between sessions.
