Get your child's creative juices flowing at this fun workshop-An introduction to sculpture and 3D design. Using bright and colourful air-dry clay your child will have the creative freedom to create a 3D sculpture which is relevant to them. This could be an animal, object or abstract piece. The only criteria is that it must have a use or serve a purpose for example a mushroom jewellery holder. Cat will teach the basic techniques of using air-dry clay demonstrate how to add detail and texture pinching and pressing, how to create a smooth finish, coil the clay to add strength and how to mix colours to create different tones. Your child's creation will be theirs to take home at the end of the session. This workshop is at an introductory level. No previous experience needed. Young artist age 5+ Drop off and pick up. No need for parents/carers to stay unless they want to.
