Kandinsky for Kids Kids Workshop 10am-12pm Kandinsky for Kids: A great artist to introduce abstract art. Wassily Kandinsky is known for his abstract art. Although his paintings were not geared towards children, he used techniques that children find easy to understand and try to emulate. Kandinsky had synaesthesia, which is a neurological phenomenon where senses are blended. He could feel sounds, taste shapes and hear colours. He could see colours when he listened to music and when he painted he could hear music. At this workshop we will be putting ourselves in his shoes, listening to some music and trying to paint what we hear. This Kids Art Workshop is at an introductory level. No previous experience needed. Artist age 5-15 Drop off and pick up. No need for parents/carers to stay unless they want to. Workshop takes place at Catz Cabin 25 Mere Lane, Sandiway, Northwich, Cheshire Please send your child with a water bottle and a snack.
