Saturday Salt Art Science Kids Workshop 10am-12noon Salt is such a fun medium to use in art projects. Salt is hygroscopic which means that it is attracted to water so when we use it with watercolours, the pigmented water wants to be near the grains of salt. Some of the watercolour gets absorbed into the grains and some is left behind creating amazing texture. This Kids Art Workshop is at an introductory level. No previous experience needed. Artist age 5-15 Drop off and pick up. No need for parents/carers to stay unless they want to. Workshop takes place at Catz Cabin 25 Mere Lane, Sandiway, Northwich, Cheshire 10am-12noon Please send your child with a water bottle and a snack.
